The first recipe we created, is one that connects with the love of the family, the eggplant in oil (melanzane Sott'olio), this recipe takes us to the heart of Amalfi, to the Amendola family, specially to Mario, who according to tradition prepare it with his own hands, for his whole family, leaving in every bite a little bit of his love for his family, for the kitchen maintaining all of its traditional flavors.
Essenza Amalfitana is just that, a company that is born from that love, and tries to transmit it, as the family tradition it is from its origins. We do not use any additives, preservatives, or any other substance that is not part of the original recipe, we follow the traditional methods, respecting the products and getting the best of them in our antipasti.
INGRIDIENTS: EGGPLANT; OLIVE OIL; REFINED OLIVE POMACE OIL; GARLIC; OREGANO;SALT; RED CHILI PEPPERS; WHITE DISTILLED VINEGAR DILUTED WITH WATER TO 5% ACIDITY.(gluten free, dairy free)
Excellent antipasto to accompany with focaccia, bread, and crakers. You can also place it on meats, salads, alone. Enjoy!!!.
